BURLINGAME—Emma Ruth Shultz, Burlingame, died March 2, 2014, at her home in Burlingame. She was 8.

She was born Aug. 20, 2005, at Topeka, the daughter of Brett and Gina Ames Shultz. She had lived in Burlingame all of her life and was a member of the Burlingame Federated Church.

She is survived by her parents; three sisters and three brothers, Mariah Shultz, Josiah Shultz, Lily Shultz, Isaac Shultz, Kieren Shultz and Solomon Shultz, all of Burlingame; maternal grandparents, Wiley and Susan Ames, Ft. Scott, and Barbara Ames, Independence; and paternal grandmother, Beverly and Richard Miller, Hutchinson.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. March 7 at Burlingame Federated Church. Burial will follow at Burlingame Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. March 6 at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Emma Shultz Memorial Fund and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
